What to Expect

Rapture is committed to welcoming everyone to our shows, both first time visitors and regular theatre goers.

These are some questions we are frequently asked with answers that might be helpful. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please get in touch at hello@rapturetheatre.co.uk

  • Can I bring the kids?

Information about advisory age limits and warnings about content, such a strong language, is available on each show page. You can also make enquires when you book your ticket with your local venue.

  • Do you provide accessible performances?

We always work hard to make our work accessible.  Check our show page and tour list for details of captioned/signed/audio described performances, or alternatively contact your local venue.

  • Where is your theatre based?

We make our productions in Glasgow and tour to theatres across Scotland.

  • How do I book tickets?

All our tickets are sold via each local theatre’s box office. Please visit our show page for more info and a link to the relevant venue’s box office.

  • How do you decide where to tour?

We tour as widely as we can to allow as many people as possible to see our work. We enjoy building relationships with venues new to us, and introducing new audiences to our work.

  • What education activities are currently available?

You can use our website to access teaching resources that are free to download and use. Visit the Education section of our website to see everything currently available for schools and higher education establishments. We can also deliver bespoke workshops – get in touch to find out more.

  • What is the running time of the show and does it have an interval?

Running times vary depending on the length of the play. Most shows have an interval, but not all. For details please see our show page or contact your local venue directly.

A beautiful play about the beautiful game – fast-paced, gripping, best football drama seen on stage.

The emotion was raw and believable, the direction was slick

Absolutely exceptional. Acting was superb, story was absorbing. It was my husband’s first time at the theatre for a performance of this type (normally attends opera/ballet/musicals), and he was blown away by the experience.
