Eastwood Park Theatre

Giffnock

The theatre first opened its doors on January 8 1973, after councillors lobbied for a purpose-built venue for local people. The first show to grace the stage was The Schoolmistress, presented by Giffnock Players’ Club.

Eastwood Park Theatre has continued to shine over the decades, playing host to stars including comedian Frankie Boyle, pop star Alvin Stardust, chef Rick Stein and author Ian Rankin.

The venue also attracts a diverse mix of touring arts, theatre, comedy, dance and music organisations and regularly welcomes local amateur dramatic groups to its stage.

The theatre is situated at Eastwood Park in Giffnock and currently has seating capacity for over 300 people, with café and leisure facilities on site, free parking and excellent transport links.
