The Brunton is a vibrant theatre and community space in Musselburgh, the gateway to beautiful East Lothian. The Brunton houses a 296 seat theatre, a 496 seat flexible performance venue and another smaller flexible venue. Our aim is to provide a range of productions to appeal to a wide audience. This includes drama, dance, music, comedy, children’s theatre, film, workshops and musicals as well as amateur and community productions all year round. Our state of the art Venue 1 allows us to offer even more entertainment as well as being available for private or corporate hire.

Getting There
Getting to The Brunton is easy. It is located on the main road to Edinburgh with adjacent car parking, bus stop and taxi rank. The Musselburgh train station is about a 20 minute walk away.

Three wheelchair spaces plus 3 escort seats with lift access in the Theatre,
Four wheelchair spaces plus 4 escort seats in Venue 1. No fixed seating in Venue 2.
Theatre: Several rows accessed via lift with no, or minimal stairs to encounter on east access side.
