Assembly Roxy

Edinburgh

Assembly Roxy is a year-round venue in Edinburgh’s Old Town, a former church with three main theatre spaces. The venues are kitted out with modern lighting and sound equipment and the small friendly venue team are always on hand for advice.

Roxy Central, the former church hall is an atmospheric, flexible space used for events, ceilidhs, filming and shows.

The raked studio space Roxy Upstairs is most commonly used for rehearsals, development work and touring theatre performances.

The venue is keen to encourage new writing with accessible work for all ages and programme theatre, dance and music out with the Fringe Festival.
